Where in the world is....
I'm here, I'm here - wherever that is.
We actually went home for 2weeks after leaving Seattle....
Highlights of the 2 weeks were having our sons and families visit along with seeing various siblings and cousins at the annual clan gathering.
One day we took a side trip to Stowe where we sent our grandchildren down a mountain on sleds (alpine slide)...Maura rode with Daddy first but then it was all about her going by herself...

..and if that wasn't fun enough, we then had them attached to bungee cords where they were hurled through space....Kieran's eyes got a little bigger when he was boinged up high...

The obligatory stop at Ben&Jerry's on the way home was just the right touch - I had a waffle cone of coffee coffee buzz buzz buzz..;-D natch.
Moving right ahead....we are back in Seattle (last week and this week) I got two new airports added to my list...well sort of airports - they are ports and we were in the air. Charlotte and I took a Seaplane from Lake Union to Victoria BC...well yes, I do believe that is the way to travel! We met a woman on the plane who was taking photos - someone forgot her camera...

That would be our view arriving Victoria Harbor:

Seattle has Piggies....Victoria, BC has Whales:

No trip to Victoria is complete without a visit to Butchart Gardens - I swear this photo is close to the postcard! (At least Charlotte had her camera)

We had a great time, truly jet-setters but back to reality this week. Home on Friday/Saturday - I'm looking forward to that.
Have a great week all.....

hey, I wondered where you were. Oh yes, I did love my trip to Vancouver and the Butchert Gardens. So, did you see any whales in the ocean?
