Got shovel?
It was a 3 driveway plow storm with the "official" accumulation at the airport (1 mile away) reported as 25.7 inches. Ok, I'll accept that. Luckily, one of our cars was away having it's door fixed, one in our garage and our tenant didn't come home last night, so the driveway was clear for plowing. The car being repaired contains boots parkas hats and gloves..you know, all that stuff you are suppose to travel with in winter "just in case". Oh well, I suspect the snow will still be here when we get the car back.
My hairdresser couldn't make it in this morning so my appointment has been rescheduled...whew...I was going to have to go if she didn't cancel. I thought if she could drive in 45 miles from Montpelier/Berlin (30 inches of snow) then I had just better get my hair over there.
The sun is trying to come out...that means it's cold and neener, neener, I don't have to go out there. We can pick up the car tomorrow, or..um... next month.

We have us a blizzard
6:30pm Update...we have 20 inches of snow and it's coming down at it's heaviest at the moment. weeee a snow day..um..eerr....I guess I don't go to school anymore but it's still got that feel to it. ;-D

A whole lot of nothing...
Since I last posted something here...
I did some real work..month end, quarter end, year end stuff. I finished gathering company tax documents and got them off to the accountants.
Had a bizzarre weekend with my sisters-in-law and my mother-in-law who told us she wouldn't be lasting the day all the while pulling aside the oxygen mask to chow down on the cookies hospice provided us.
Went to Seattle for a week. Had some fun visits with my brother and sister-in-law.
My mother-in-law died. We flew back home to VT. Our sons and sisters-in-law stayed with us again. Everyone was just awesome.
We packed and cleared everything out of "the home" by the end of the month. Goodness, she had a lot of stuff.
We "used" my Mother-in-law's clout as a founder of the Ben-e-fit shop to get someone to come get her clothes and stuff and then got yelled at because I didn't want them to have everything right away...we wanted to give the staff and residents at the home first crack at the stuff we were leaving. The Ben-e-Fit shop volunteer turned it back on me..."she was one of the founders of the shop, you know, she would have wanted her things donated there" umm..yes she would and there will be some there ..soon. I gave her a bag of shoes and a bag with a heart and a lung pillow in it with promises of more to follow in a few days. I'm generous to a fault.
I know I have been busy...I know I've done other things...guess just not too much I think would be of interest to the blog world at large.
Oh yeah..I snowed last night and it's going to be really really cold again. The sun is out, it's February, so I think it must be really really cold already....guess we'll go to Seattle again on Sunday.
