Some stuff

Bet you thought I was dead....nope. Wet, soggy, damp, cranky, yes, but not dead, yet.

It stopped raining last week long enough to mow the grass.......it's raining again and I don't like it one bit. We have received more than twice our usual allotment for June....I don't want no more stinkin' rain. I think today's forcast is dire..something about record breaking rainfall and flooding...thank goodness the drought is over.

The saga of the shower door continues. I spent another hour on the phone waiting for customer service to get to me. The bottom line is they have credited our account and they may or may not send some one out to inspect the broken piece but regardless of that, if I don't hear anything from them by July 1st, I can do whatever I please with the door. Yes, Fans, in our disposable, not my job, I'm too good for that workaday, it's cheaper for them to throw out the $500 plus door than it is for them to deal with it. Soooo, anyone need a shower door? All one needs to do is call the manufacturer and order the broken piece and they have themselves a mighty fine shower door which by the way the manufacturer sells for over $800.

We went to Ct over the weekend...snort...those critters make me laugh.

I've been spackling and painting since we got back on Monday. I'm not sure the colors are the same ones I picked out, maybe this is why I don't do this very often but at least it will be fresh and clean and we have a new floor up there! Yes it's true, Leo finished that floor in 4 days! hehehe...Greg and I stood int he driveway watching Leo put a tarp over his truck full of stuff, gathering up his belongings...sniff sniff...our little boy was getting ready to leave us! Ok not exactly, his stuff is still here...heck his stuff is still all over the neighborhood from other jobs he's done..he'll be back.

Time to get to painting...having a good day all.

Hhhmm, I would love that shower door. is it a 48 inch door? I wish Elizabeth had a bigger car but I don't think it would fit in her little subaru. Bummer.

I hope you are all okay in VT today--the news from NJ and PA is scary, with all of the flooding and evacuations. Stay well, and good luck with the spackling and painting.

Gail..it's big/tall 72 inches; it's a pivot door which will fit an opeing 33-36 inches. It's the 7inch side piece on which the door pivots and adjusts for size that is broken.

Beth! The weather stealer! This is the one time I'm glad we don't live near the Lake or river but I'm here to tell you there are parts of my lawn that won't get mowed becasue of standing water.

Bummer, it won't fit. Elizabeth is driving home later today for the long weekend. I think she's looking forward to getting out of the rain.
