Thanks, All! The walls are green but that doesn't show up at all and my MIL's water lilly painting lends all sort of color possibility. I still need to bring in "stuff" but amazing how much stuff I decided we didn't need when faced with dragging it back in. ;-D Yup, DA it's a bench/hamper - right now my sheets are stored in it.
