Southern Living...

Gee, what a difference a few degrees in latitude make...there is very little snow south of Vermont these days. We got a good foot of snow between Thursday and Sunday morning...granted the last bunch was Lake effect snow. It was pretty when we left though. Now we have dirt/salt...most of it caked on our cars too. Must find car wash today.

Soooo, I see our little burg of a city in VT is getting a Hooter's this spring. Ahhh, give me a break..their Chicken wings aren't all that much better than some other restuarant. Yeah, and you all buy Playboy for the articles, right? Well before we get all huffy and defensive, I have a question for you...would you want your daughter/niece/grand-daughter to work there? Just asking....

Hmmm...I can think of one thing worse than an Left lane hugging SUV with CT plates going 64 MPH on the interstate...a left lane hugging SUV with CT plates going 64mph hauling a snowmobile trailer...gggrrr. There was more than one. Oh yeah...and I noticed the drive is a LOT longer when you have to stay awake and drive it yourself! Worth it to have two cars here though.

Today's coffee has been Costa Rica La Minita brewed in an electric Sunbeam vacuum pot; chrome base with a glass top auto shut off. Aaarrgh, we left some coffee home in the cupboard! The horrors! Umm....maybe I can get one of my neighbors to take it off our hands so it doesn't go to waste! hhhmmm?

Hrumph...someone bought my double boiler for more than 3 times what the last one sold for on eBay. I'm annoyed.

Time to get on with the day...make it a good one for yourselves.

Sorry you lost out on the double boiler. I miss the pretty parts of the snow, but not the salt and caked on gunk.
