Beforemath.....
So Of course I know you have all been waiting patiently for the good stuff of the past weekend.....Maura and Kieran in their Monkey and Sleeping Beauty costumes! I can't say that Kieran was all that thrilled with his Monkey hat or for the whole Trick or Treat thing to begin with, but he went out with us for a while.
So there were 3 little kids in our entourage...2 moms, 2 grandmothers, 1 grandfather, 1 uncle/Godfather and 1 aunt/godmother. Think that was enough? We left Demian Greg and Dave home to man the door..they did a great job complete with clean up after dinner. I was totally thrilled to see all the people in the neighborhood out and about...all the kids were polite, almost all of them traveled in groups with plenty of adult supervision AND they were in costume as well. I was surprised at the numbers of teenager type groups actually Trick or treating..heck they even drove themselves to a party down the street, but again they were very polite. Happy Halloween! Ahem...i only ate a few of the kids' candy...some Whoppers and Almond Joys.
Now then...Nora found the best costume at Costco for next year..or the year after...all we have to do is convince Maura she wants to be a flamingo for Halloween. Ahem...it didn't exactly fit me, but you can't fault a woman for trying.....

Now you have more than 360 days to find a flamingo costoume for an adult. That's the picture I will be waiting to see.

The kids looked great. Fabulous flamingo costume. Maybe Maura will wear it if Grandma finds an adult one to wear, too.
