Some new things........
We had a busy week at home...no, that isn't new but I was surprised how quickly it went by. Besides catch-up chores like lawn mowing and freezer cleaning we went to visit Granny Morna and bought a new to us car.
2001 Sabb 95 silver...automatic. I'm not sure how I feel about the automatic transmission as yet so stay tuned. This is basically a replacement for Greg's 1996 Saab so he picked it out. I first brought home a Mazda RX8 to test drive....ok..it was cute and I looked good in it but I think it's basically a cop magnet...something *I* certainly don't need. The new Saab is quite understated..." nondescript" is accurate.
Went to buy some lobster meat for Granny Morna's lunch and found it to be $49.99 a pound...riiiiiggghhhtttt...I don't recall any news on gold plated lobsters being found. ggeesh...frozen lobster meat was still $25 a pound. whew.
We came to Stamford to "help" Demian with the kids while Lori is attending a shower in West Virginia for the weekend. Yes, Greg..it's only 10:20 am.
Lori left some cookie dough for Maura and I to make cookies with this morning. What that really means is that Maura eats her fill of cookie dough while I scoop and bake. Nooooooooo the second sheet of cookies don't really make it on the lower shelf of the oven without getting overdone here any more than they do at my house. silly grandmaw.
Seems Barney is back in our life after a little hiatus. Patting Pop pop's tummy while watching Barney is I'm sure only something Maura could get away with...snort.....
I hate rain..........maybe it will clear up this afternoon.
