Pondering
~~Do you think the birds will appreciate the time and effort I just put in stringing suet I collected cutting up a chuck roast for stew meat??
~~What if they don't find it where I hung it in the discarded Christmas tree?
~~What if they do and Knoel finds them?
~~What if the birds are ill and.....never mind..I see that I am getting carried away....

At Christmas time we always hang feeder ornaments on a spruce in the backyard. We also string it with lights and place a lighted reindeer loaded with food for the animals to party on. The bird feeders were freshly filled too. We had the best time watching all the critters gather around, hanging upside down, shaking the feeders stretching from tree limb to tree limb in order to feast or shake some goodies for the ground animals. Buddy comes and goes, but they only stop momentarily to make sure it is just Buddy and then go back to their play.

Knoel is fearless..he thinks the neighbor's newly designed backyard and bird feeders were put in just for him. Talk about a kid in a candy store! Duane once saw Knoel stalking a wild turkey...he stopped as if thinking what would happen if he actually was sucessful on his "hunt". As much as I like the woodland critters, the ones around here take advantage as the squirrels I was feeding did when I didn't get their food out there as often as they liked..they started coming in the house and even were seen lounging on the couch. The Noive!

The birds are known to knock at the patio door for their breakfast. We put in a doggy door for Buddy and I"m waiting to come home and find the backyard guests jumping on my furniture. I doubt Buddy would give them a hard time. He will probably show them how it's done.

Don't worry that other people don't know you; worry that you don't know other people.
