Books
It has been a pretty good book month- folks are doing their spring cleaning So I added about 40 books to my stash last month and added them to my pda list yesterday... and what a cheap way to always have plenty of books to read.
Actually bought a new virgin book at BJs and a pound of colossal shrimp-14 to a pound for my vacation weekend- I'll expand on all of this tomorrow if they don't make me work too hard.

Flexing the typing fingers about the WAR
Now that this writer (that's how we say it in SOAP notes) is out from under the work 'gun' she has time to present her feelings on THE WAR.
WAR SUCKS.
on to other things....my little house not on the prairie is finally rented...i am a sucker...i lowered the rent because i fell in love with a 7 year old boy named Ulysses who fell in love with the house...hope i haven't had another lapse of judgment and end up in a mess like the last tenants...you can bet i'll keep a better eye on it this time- $5,000 later...Ulysses and family move in May 1 and i'll be out from under two mortgages from one salary...although Peter Jr's car allowance from his company is larger than the mortgage payment on Ulysses' house.
Mandela was right GW is not thinking right. He is thinking like a redneck imperialist. I agree that Saddam is evil, even dangerous, but we needed more allies before taking him on. I think it would not have hurt to wait another year to get other countries on board. GW was in a rush and the US military got caught in 'groupthink' and now its 'win at any cost- no matter how long it takes'. If the military was a tad more diverse it might have occurred to them that Iraq would not fight lined up in uniforms in the middle of the desert on a clear day.
Not everyone thinks like America, or wants to be like America, or for that matter knows what its like to be 'free'. How can you sell a concept that the buyer doesn't understand?
To continue not to admit to errors in planning and judgment and not to learn from Vietnam, Afganistan is just going to cost lives. I truly fear that GW will up the ante and use nuclear weapons and/or start the 'mother of all wars'. WOW- my mouth (or fingers) spilleth over.
